Hoops for Literacy has been a part of the Storytime Village's programs since 2014 and a part of the Kansas Literacy Festival since 2016. This family engagement event promotes literacy through the participation of community leaders, celebrity guests, and the support of the community. Every child leaves the game with literacy resources and a book to help build their home library.
